The Magewell Ultra Stream™ Live Streaming and Recording Encoders are designed to make live streaming and recording as simple as possible. This stand-alone device requires no computer, allowing for direct internet connectivity via wired Ethernet, Wi-Fi or optional 4G modem support. Control the device using on-device buttons, an intuitive smartphone app or a browser-based interface. Available with HDMI or SDI input and loop-through, it offers an easy and flexible solution for content creators, educators and professionals.
Supporting H.264 or HEVC video encoding and AAC-LC audio encoding, the Magewell Ultra Stream™ encoder allows you to stream effortlessly to popular platforms such as YouTube and Facebook Live. It can also stream to custom RTMP or RTMPS servers and even send RTSP streams. With resolutions up to 1080p60 at bitrates up to 8Mbps, users can stream to two platforms simultaneously at up to 4Mbps.
In addition to streaming, the Magewell Ultra Stream™ encoder enables seamless recording. You can record to internal storage, a USB flash drive, a smartphone or an FTP server, while simultaneously previewing, recording and streaming. The encoder also supports recording with two different encoding presets, offering greater flexibility for various needs. Add narration with the analog microphone input and monitor the input signal through the analog headphone output.
For managing multiple units across different locations, the Magewell Control Hub provides centralised configuration and control. Administrators and IT staff can manage encoders and decoders with ease using the browser-based interface and Control Hub also supports stream conversion between different protocols.
