Whittlesea Secondary College commissioned Vision One Australia with the job of upgrading many of their classrooms with new interactive technologies. Twenty five classrooms were installed with Epson EB-485Wi ultra short throw interactive projectors, whilst another three rooms including the school’s Conference Room, VCE, and the Performing Arts Centre all had upgrades of their own.
Accompanying the Epson projectors in the classrooms were 30w powered speaker systems for sound, as well as JED projector keypad controllers for touch button automatic control over the projector’s functions including ON/OFF, source selection, and volume control. The wall plates installed allow users to connect multiple sources to the projector including, PC’s/Laptops, Game Consoles, & Blu-Ray players.
The interactive projectors are all set up to project onto standard classroom whiteboards allowing users with pen touch interactive functionality for annotations, drawings, and many more interactive functions and features.
Adam Lang, Network Manager at the school worked closely with Director Chris Sismanes and Vision One technicians on the project.
