Seamless sound & smart control: elevating the AV experience.

As part of the upgrade, the existing Extron and RTI control systems were replaced with Crestron Wall-mounted Touch Panels, known for their intuitive and user-friendly interfaces. These panels allow staff to control on/off, volume and source selection with a single touch, streamlining AV operations across multiple rooms.

The implementation of Crestron XiO Cloud Management Room Licenses further enhances control, allowing IT administrators to remotely monitor, troubleshoot and manage AV systems across the campus, reducing downtime and support costs.

To improve classroom audio clarity, premium Australian Monitor QFC8CS Ceiling Speakers were installed, offering high-fidelity sound distribution. These speakers are powered by PICOBLU 30W In-ceiling Mixer Amplifiers, which ensure consistent and clear audio performance. For rooms requiring enhanced sound reinforcement, Audac IMEO2 Soundbars were integrated, delivering powerful and immersive audio for presentations and media playback.

Streamlined hybrid solutions.

To support hybrid meetings and professional development, the Senior School Conference Room was equipped with a Biamp Parlé VBC 2500 Video Conference Smart Soundbar. This all-in-one solution features an integrated 4K camera, echo cancellation and beamtracking microphones to provide crystal-clear audio and video conferencing capabilities.

For effortless wireless collaboration, a Crestron Wireless BYOD Video Conferencing Solution was deployed. This includes the AM-3100-WF-I AirMedia® Receiver and AM-TX3-100-I AirMedia® Connect Adapter, allowing students and teachers to wirelessly share content from their laptops, tablets or smartphones via Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

To ensure smooth content sharing, existing Vivi Wireless Presentation Devices were retained, maintaining compatibility with classroom workflows. Additionally, HDMI wall plates were upgraded for seamless connectivity, while outdated VGA inputs were removed to modernise and simplify the AV setup.

Dynamic digital signage for instant communication.

For administrative and communication needs, Philips Q-Line Android Digital Signage Displays were strategically placed in high-traffic areas, including the Principal’s Foyer and Room D. These commercial-grade displays feature built-in Android operating systems, enabling centralised content management and dynamic messaging across the school.

To further enhance the interactive learning environment, we supplied and installed three ViewSonic IFP7533-G 75″ UHD Interactive Flat Panel Displays, each mounted on a North Bayou P220 Motorised Mobile Trolley. The ViewBoard IFP33 Series combines 4K UHD clarity, advanced bonding technology and a 40-point touchscreen interface, offering vibrant colours, enhanced contrast and reduced glare. Featuring Ultra Fine Touch Technology, the displays allow students and teachers to collaborate effortlessly with either their fingers or dual-tip pens, creating an intuitive, pen-on-paper experience that enhances interactive learning.

To improve efficiency, Crestron Occupancy Sensors were installed in key locations, automating system usage by detecting room occupancy and powering down AV equipment when spaces are unoccupied, leading to significant energy savings.
