Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School is a leading co-educational school with three campuses located in Melbourne, Victoria. Back in 2021, the school’s IT department identified the need for an upgrade to its audio visual systems and sought the team at Vision One to provide a cutting-edge solution to their AV/T infrastructure. These recent works formed the basis of a “phase 2″ delivery, the second stage of a larger and pre-existing ecosystem rollout that began with the deployment of 36x InFocus J Touch Interactive Displays in September of 2021.
The challenge of this recent deployment aimed to address the need to further enhance the interactive learning experience for students in a post-pandemic world. With many schools and universities still grappling with the challenges of remote learning, the need for technology that could facilitate engaging and interactive classroom experiences was more important than ever.
To address this challenge, Vision One deployed 30x InFocus J Touch 50 Series Interactive Touch Screens to help transform every classroom into an impactful learning space, maximising student engagement. The touch screen functionality enables students to interact with the content being displayed—whether it’s a video, image or text document—in a way that is natural and intuitive. Along with clear, crisp audio from the Audac IMEO2 Sound Bars, these systems are designed to deliver a seamless, interactive learning experience that combines advanced touch screen capabilities with high-fidelity audio.
The upgrade of new AV/T technology at Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School provides an immersive and engaging learning experience for the students, whilst maintaining ease-of-use practice for teachers. With InFocus, the school has transformed the way in which students interact with content, enhancing the way learning is managed in a classroom.
