Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School is a multi-campus independent Uniting Church comprehensive co-educational early learning, primary and secondary day school, with three campuses located in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Having established a rapport with our technical and sales team over recent years, the IT team at Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School awarded upgrade works to 36x classrooms in the school’s Larkin Centre to Vision One Technologies.
To begin, we decomissioned 36x existing interactive whiteboard (Smartboard) systems and motorised brackets/frames.
Then, we replaced these systems with 36x InFocus J Touch 75″ INF7540e 4K Interactive Touch Display. With 4K resolution, Total Touch Control™, built-in education features and an open Android platform, the JTouch INF7540e is a fully customizable, all-in-one teaching, collaboration, and presentation solution.
For audio, we installed 3x Audac IMEO1 Soundbars discreetely below each touchscreen display. The IMEO1 Soundbar features a slim and elegant design and includes all required functions for expansion of any audiovisual system with an impressive sound, while having a minimal hassle for installation. It’s perfectly suited for installations such as classrooms, presentation rooms or meeting rooms where it can be used and installed in combination with screens, smartboards or projectors.
The school elected to deploy Apple TVs as the primary signal source, allowing students and teachers to wirelessly transmit content to each touchscreen.
