Parade College is a Catholic all-boys multi-campus secondary school, run under the auspices of the Congregation of Christian Brothers and Edmund Rice Education Australia.
Parade College’s Bundoora Campus (at 1436 Plenty Road) reached out to Vision One‘s installation team to commission a new projection and Crestron control system in their Rivergum Theatre.
We decommissioned an existing low-brightness projector and substituted this unit for a new Epson EB-L1505UHNL WUXGA with 4K Enhancement Laser Projector. Powered by 3LCD technology and Epson’s laser optical engine, the EB-L1505UNL is capable of producing White Light and Colour Light Output of up to 12,000 lumens in WUXGA resolution, delivering captivating images in virtually any venue.
The laser light source also lets you take control of brightness with precise adjustment in increments of 1% and a constant brightness mode that maintains brightness at a specified level to match any venue or subject.
The projector was installed with an ELPLM15 Middle Throw Lens to fit the existing 6m wide motorised projection screen. An ELPLW06 Wide Throw Lens was also supplied to deliver breathtaking 13m wide image and video backdrops for school productions.
The existing CommBox infrastructure was restored and upgraded to a fully-automated Crestron Control System that included a DMPS 3-Series Presentation Switcher, white and black 5″ Touch Screens and HDBaseT Powered Wall Plates and Control Modules.
The school required the re-use of existing video composite equipment, so we provided a Blackmagic Mini Analogue to SDI Converter, transforming this analogue signal into compatible SDI cabling.
