Transforming science education: a multi-screen learning revolution at Parade.
To begin, we installed 2x front-of-house, Sony 85″ FWD85X80H Bravia 4K Displays. The BRAVIA FWD-85X80H brings you the clarity, colour and contrast of 4K plus rich multi-dimensional sound, framed in a slim, luxurious design. These displays were strategically installed on either side of a central whiteboard to better accomodate viewing angles for the room’s wide layout.
Between each student bay, we installed 7x Sony 43″ FWD43X80H Bravia 4K Displays with dedicated/local HDMI (via HDBaseT) connection inputs.
Beneath the teacher’s bench, we installed a Kramer WP-789T HDMI to HDBaseT Wall Plate Transmitter. WP−789T is a high−performance, long−reach HDBaseT wall−plate transmitter for 4K@60Hz (4:2:0) HDMI and HDCP 2.2 signals over twisted pair. It converts the HDMI input signal into an HDBaseT signal and transmits it to a compatible receiver. By connecting via this input, the classroom teacher is able to display/distribute their local input, either to the two front-of-house 85″ displays, and/or the 7x student bay 43″ room displays.

Empowering collaborative learning: harnessing technology for future-ready students.
We used the “AV superpowers” of Kramer’s state-of-the-art VS-1616DN-EM 2×2 to 16×16 Modular 4K60 4:2:0 Multi–Format Managed Digital Matrix Switcher to control input switching and distribution to any/all of the 9x display outputs.
Capturing the classroom from above, we installed a Panasonic AW-HE38HWEJ Professional PTZ Camera. The AW-HE38 camera is designed to produce great results in a variety of applications that require high-quality video and precise control—such as conference video, event capture, staging, distance learning and houses-of-worship. We configured 3x dedicated room presets to reflect “focus-areas” across the room, each of which can be recalled via the attractive Kramer KT-107 7″ Table-Mounted Touch Screen. KT−107 is a 7−inch IPS multi−touch, powerful touch panel with 1280×800 resolution. Elegantly designed for decorative room integration, this portable touch panel can be deployed either tabletop or on−wall, mounted inside standard in−wall junction boxes.
Powered by an Audac COM24MK2 100v Mixer Amplifier, 6x Audac CIRA724/W 6.5″ In-Ceiling Speakers were installed to the ceiling for even audio distribution. The CIRA series are coaxial 2-way ceiling speakers featuring exceptional intelligibility and musical performance. The TwistFix™ borderless grill design offers easy but solid assembly and a completely seamless transition from grill to ceiling. All equipment was stored in an adjacent storeroom within a Caymon 12RU Equipment Rack.
- Interactive Learning: The multi-screen setup encourages collaboration and active participation among students, enhancing their learning experience.
- High-Quality Visuals: The installation of 4K displays ensures vibrant visuals, making complex scientific concepts more accessible and engaging.
- Flexible Teaching Methods: Teachers can easily switch between inputs and distribute content across various displays, allowing for more dynamic lesson plans.
- Future-Ready Technology: The integrated PTZ camera and audio system support hybrid learning, enabling the college to adapt to changing educational needs.
The successful deployment of this advanced AV/T solution in Parade College’s ER25 Science Room not only enhances the educational environment but also embodies the college’s commitment to excellence in teaching and learning. By embracing cutting-edge technology, Parade College is well-equipped to inspire the next generation of students, preparing them for a bright future in an ever-evolving world.
