Murrumbeena Primary School, with a student population of approximately 540, is located in the City of Glen Eira. Enrolment is drawn from the local residential community of Murrumbeena and surrounding suburbs of Carnegie, East Malvern, Hughesdale and Oakleigh.
The school collaborated with Vision One on the design and implementation of a new audio visual system in their gymnasium/hall space.
We supplied and installed a Hitachi CPWU9100B 10,000 ANSI Lumens Large Venue Projector inside of a custom-built Ultralift wall cage, projecting onto a large 180″ Grandview Motorised Smart Projection Screen. Designed to operate consistently and reliably in even the most demanding environments, the 9000 Series is capable of delivering clean, crisp and vibrant images for longer without the need for regular maintenance.
Next, we installed an audio system comprising of 2x Australian Monitor XDS 12 Surface Mounted Loud Speakers and custom-built Ultralift Protective Speaker Cages, a Chiayo Dual Wireless Handheld Microphone System and Rack Mount Kit, an Australian Monitor AMB1200 Powered Amplifier, an Australian Monitor MX82 Mixer and a CD/SD/MP3/USB/Bluetooth Media Device. We also provided features for WiFi-based audio streaming, integrating into the school’s existing network infrastructure.
A JED T460 Wall Controller was installed for ON/OFF, VOLUME and SOURCE selection while an HDMI Wall Plate was installed for laptop connectivity. Two XLR Inputs were provided to cater for the connection of a wired microphone and an electric piano.
We also connected a Kramer VIA GO Wireless Presentation Device for wireless streaming from any device (laptop, PC, phone, tablet).
