Mernda Central College is a co-education school that provides opportunities for all members to work collaboratively to access a seamless, personalised and innovative education and build a safe and supportive learning environment.
The IT team at Mernda Central College recruited Vision One to design and deploy a brand new audio visual solution for the school’s Theatrette. To begin, we installed an Epson EB-G7200W 7,500 ANSI Lumens WXGA Projector on a custom-built L-shaped bracket, manufactured by Ultralift Australia. The Epson EB-G7200W is easy to set-up and with low maintenance requirements, which boasts vibrant, true-to-life images with better color brightness.
On the opposite wall, we installed a Grandview 160″ Motorised Projection Screen. The Grandview Screen is cleverly designed to make installation easy and has multiple mounting points, for placement on both the wall or ceiling.
For audio, we contacted our trusted pals at Audio Logistics who recommended a system comprising of 2x Audac XENO6 6″ Wall Speakers and 1x Audac Mixer Amplifier. The XENO series is a loudspeaker range specifically designed for fixed audio installations in modern environments, offering two different sizes of contemporary and elegant designed products. What makes them so unique is their full range audio design, allowing them to be used without additional bass cabinet.
The COM series public address mixing amplifiers are providing an ideal solution for small to medium size commercial sound systems. Different configurations in terms of output power and connectivity provide enormous flexibility for numerous applications.
To secure and store all hardware, beneath a vacant cupboard space we installed an Caymon WPR606 Wall Mount Equipment Rack. The WPR606 is a professional 19” wall mount metal rack compliant to ANSI/EIA RS-310D, DIN41491, IEC 60297 standards which comes fully assembled and can be easily mounted on the wall.
For system control, we installed our custom Vision One-branded JED T460 Wall Controller.
