Freemasons Victoria has a rich history spanning over 170 years, playing a pivotal role in the development of Melbourne. They established the Royal Freemasons Homes of Victoria in 1867 for elderly palliative care and the Freemasons Hospital in 1937 to support members and their families. Their commitment to service and community welfare continues to drive their initiatives today.

Freemasons get Zoom-ready with new boardroom VC system.

In mid-2021, Freemasons Victoria enlisted the team at Vision One to deploy an audio visual/video conference system in their recently refurbished Melbourne boardroom. Pandemic-related delays pushed the project into the final quarter of the year and by the beginning of December, the new boardroom was complete.

Transforming communication: a cutting-edge AV solution for modern collaboration.

To begin, we installed the stunning Sony FWD Series 85” Display Panel to the front wall, opposite the master table. Optimised for professional applications, the BRAVIA FWD-85X85G features Sony’s advanced 4K HDR Processor X1 for richly coloured, high-contrast 4K HDR images, while 4K X-Reality PRO upscales lower-resolution images closer to true 4K quality.

For audio/playback, we supplied and installed 1x AUD-COM104 100v 40W Mixer Amplifier with 4x CENA706/W 6” In-Ceiling Speakers. The CENA series are full-range ceiling speakers, designed to offer an unmatched solution for large scale public address projects.

Elevating the boardroom experience: seamless integration of audio-visual tech.

To enable Zoom/Teams collaboration, we supplied and installed 1x Aver CAM520Pro2 18x Total Zoom Microsoft Teams and Zoom Certified PTZ USB Camera and 1x Biamp Devio SCR20C Conference Room Dock System with 2x Ceiling Microphones. The CAM520 Pro2 provides smoother video imaging than ever with up to 1080p, 60fps quality.

All soft-codec operations were powered by a Zotac Z-Box Pro PI335 Pico Mini PC with pre-loaded Windows 10. A Custom JED T460 Wall Controller was used to command full system control including ON/OFF, Source and Volume adjustments. A Kramer Table Box was also supplied for HDMI/Data/Power connectivity.
