Unique LED displays visually transform outdoor amphitheater at Bialik College.
Recently, Vision One Technologies completed a project consisting of two 2.5 x 1.5 metre weatherproof LED video walls at Bialik College. Vision One is incredibly proud to have been associated with the school for many years and are honoured by the opportunity to be such a major part of the school’s classroom technology upgrades. To date, Vision One has upgraded over 50 classrooms within Bialik College, with an estimated 20 rooms currently upgraded to laser light projection technology.

A bold step in outdoor AV/T with VuePix LEDs.
Discussions with the school for the LED Video Wall project commenced back in early 2020. The school has a wonderful outdoor amphitheater where assemblies and presentations are held, and where they would traditionally wheel in a portable PA system for voice presentations. Therefore, their brief was to provide a video solution that could be used throughout all parts of the day. Traditional projection was not a suitable option in such a bright outdoor environment, so the team at Vision One started working on an LED solution to provide the school with the best and most optimal visual experience.
Partnering with ULA – distributors of the global brand VuePix LED, we developed a solution across two wall spaces, an LED display mounted to each side of the building. The VuePix 3.9mm pixel pitch solution provides high brightness, 5,000 NITS and an outdoor display with an impressive colour resolution, a feature that is just as excellent even with sunlight streaming directly across the screens. Both walls are housed within custom Ultralift Australia metal enclosures providing a clean finish with perforated panels to all sides of the video walls and concealing all components and cabling. The audio system is comprised of 2x VOID Cyclone outdoor speakers, one positioned above each LED wall. The speakers are driven by an Audac SMA750 dual channel power amplifier, with the remainder of the audio system including an Audio Technica System 10 Pro Dual wireless hand-held microphone system and an Audac PRE-116 6 channel stereo preamplifier.
The audio system, together with the LED video walls has transformed the Bialik College Amphitheatre into a complete audio-visual performance, presentation and multipurpose space.
