The Audac PRE116 6-Channel Stereo Preamplifier is a versatile and feature-rich audio control solution designed for small to medium-sized audio installations. It offers six input channels, including two balanced mono inputs with phantom power and three-band tone control, making it ideal for both microphone and line-level sources.
With four stereo line inputs (one balanced via XLR and three unbalanced via RCA), the PRE116 ensures maximum connectivity for various audio sources. Its integrated Bluetooth receiver (mixed with Channel 3) and 3.5mm jack input (mixed with Channel 4) provide seamless wired and wireless playback from laptops, smartphones and tablets.
For priority-based audio control, the switchable talkover function automatically suppresses background music when a priority signal is detected—ideal for paging and voice announcements. A priority mute contact further enables alarm system integration by muting non-priority sources upon contact closure.
With rotary input volume controls, a 6-segment LED VU meter and a 2-band master tone control, the PRE116 offers precision tuning and easy operation. The rear panel provides essential configuration options, including gain adjustments and mono/stereo switching, ensuring seamless system integration for commercial and professional audio applications.
