Charles La Trobe gets 'Bang for Buck' with new AV system.
Vision One Technologies was engaged to design and implement a comprehensive audio-visual solution for the school’s main gymnasium, enhancing its functionality for various events and activities. After a thorough process that involved evaluating the pros and cons of various Epson installation projectors (in both lamp and laser light variations), we installed an Epson EB-L1505U 12,000 ANSI Lumens WUXGA Projector with an ELPLM10 Middle Throw Lens. The Projector was installed from an Ultralift Spider Vault Post and Projection Wall Cage, custom-fabricated to suit our designated specification.

Elevating school spirit: a dynamic AV upgrade for unforgettable experiences.
The installation process began with the custom fabrication of an Ultralift Spider Vault Post and Projection Wall Cage, which securely housed the Epson projector. A massive 200” Grandview Motorised Smart Screen was mounted using a custom bracketing system, fixed across the existing H-beams to ensure stability during operation.
To facilitate control over the AV system, a unique JED T460 Projector Keypad Controller was installed, allowing easy management of system volume and projection settings. On either side of the projection screen, Australian Monitor XDS12 Surface Mounted Loudspeakers were installed, encased in Ultralift custom-built Speaker Protection Cages to safeguard against potential damage from ball impacts.

To complete the setup, we included an Australian Monitor AMB1200 Powered Amplifier and MX82 Mixer, resulting in an ultra-modern sound system that elevates the audio experience to cinematic levels within the gymnasium. Additionally, a Sennheiser Wireless Handheld Microphone System and a Lapel Microphone System were installed to accommodate live presentations and performances, enhancing the versatility of the gym space.
