Seamless AV integration enhances classroom interaction and collaboration at Chisholm Institute.
Our team meticulously designed a comprehensive AV solution tailored to Chisholm Institute’s requirements, incorporating innovative products from leading brands like Promethean and Crestron. The cornerstone of our solution was the installation of two Promethean ActivPanel LX 86″ Interactive Panels. These interactive panels not only offered stunning visuals with their 4K Ultra HD resolution but also provided touch-sensitive screens, enabling seamless interaction and collaboration among students.
Beside each Promethean ActivPanel, we installed a 2100mm x 1200mm Low Gloss Whiteboard in a side-by-side configuration. This complimented the digital whiteboarding experience with a more familiar and legacy-oriented teaching tool.
Additionally, we integrated Crestron BPCI-8 onCue® Basic Presentation Controllers with custom GUI and programming, empowering educators with intuitive control over audiovisual content. With the inclusion of Crestron SAROS SB-200-P-B Saros® Sound Bars, we enhanced the auditory experience, delivering immersive sound quality that complements the visual content. One of the key challenges we addressed was ensuring seamless connectivity and flexibility for teachers and presenters.
To achieve this, we deployed HDMI/USB and USC-C Wall Plates, providing convenient connectivity options for laptops and other devices. The integration of the Crestron HD-DA2-4KZ-E 1:2 HDMI® Distribution Amplifier allowed for effortless sharing of content between the teacher’s laptop and the Promethean ActivPanel, enabling dual-screen functionality and enhancing interactive presentations.
