Opening in November 2020, The Petal Room is Hawthorn’s modern-twist traditional florist.
The team at Vision One were recruited to design, develop and deploy a unique “digital signage projection wall” to “WOW” the startup’s new clientele.
To begin, we conceptualized and rendered visual animation content in-house, to reflect the brief outlined by the team at The Petal Room. This included:
- Emphasis on “The Petal Room” logo in gold
- Movement of falling petals in the foreground
- Petals must be white
- Transparent background required
To meet the hardware specification, we supplied and installed an Epson EV-100 2,000 ANSI Lumens Laser LightScene Projector to the ceiling. The projector was mounted approximately 3m from the wall to achieve a width of 2m and a height of 1.25m. Designed to blend in discreetly to any setting – from retail, hospitality and event spaces to showrooms and museums – LightScene EV-100 series offers a sleek, spotlight design, with an array of configuration, mounting and programming options. A convergence of lighting and display technology, LightScene laser projectors captivate audiences by simultaneously illuminating and projecting on virtually any surface or material, unleashing dynamic, experiential content for digital art, commercial signage and décor applications.
