The team at Vision One were commissioned to install a multi-purpose video wall solution in Motorola’s recently refurbished presentation and briefing space.
4x NEC 55” UNS Series large format video wall display panels were installed in a video wall configuration on a custom wall bracket while a series of matrix switches (16 x 16s and 4 x 4s) provided the necessary infrastructure to alternate between the modes of full screen, four-way split-screen and video wall/computer monitor split-screen.
An automated RTi control system with iPad custom-built interface was installed as a wireless control solution while a secondary backup wall controller was mounted on the rear wall.
An audio system comprising of 4x 8” in-ceiling flush mounted speakers and a 60w mixer/amplifier housed in an 18RU equipment rack was installed to provide an even dispersion of sound that actively accompanies the visual component of the solution.
Multiple sources ranging from a Blu-ray player and a Kramer Via Connect Pro wireless presentation unit to laptop and fixed PC connectivity was provided through the custom-developed switching system, allowing an array of sources to appear on any/either the video wall display panels or the individual computer monitors within the facility.
