A leader in girls’ education since 1890, Korowa is renowned for its academic excellence in a specialised girls’ environment. The IT team at Korowa teamed up with Vision One to deploy interactive classroom upgrades in their recently refurbished Junior School, as part of their school-wide commitment to updated technology infrastructure.
In the 9x new classrooms, we installed Epson EB-696Ui Full HD Interactive Projection Systems above commercial whiteboards. These new projectors offer ultimate interactivity by combining finger-touch with dual pen capability. With a brightness level of 3,800 lumens and Full HD WUXGA resolution, the EB-696Ui’s ultra-short-throw design allows users to present large images from a very short distance with minimised shadows and glare while a 16,000:1 contrast ratio and HDMI input means that students benefit from sharp, clear images. In each space, we installed inDESIGN 30w Powered Speakers on either side of the whiteboard, JED T460 Wall Controllers with our custom-designed Vision One interface for system control and VGA/Audio/HDMI/USB Wall Plates for connectivity.
In each projector’s HDMI 2 input, a Vivi Wireless Collaboration Device was connected for wireless streaming. Vivi’s classroom technology integrates its core functionality of screen mirroring and video streaming with a raft of additional educational features, all controlled from a single, easy-to-use app, and managed at the institutional level via a web-based Admin Portal.
