Established in 1955, Brighton Secondary College is a coeducational, government secondary school catering for over 1200 students from Years 7 – 12, with a history of serving they local Bayside community. The IT team at Brighton teamed up with Vision One to deploy a new string of interactive classroom installations as well as audio visual works in the new Staff Room and Principal’s Office.
In the 18x classrooms, we installed Epson EB-685W Ultra Short Throw WXGA Projectors above existing porcelain whiteboards. Offering 3x Higher Colour Brightness than competitive models, Epson 3LCD projectors and displays ensure bright, vivid images. It features optional wireless functionality (module sold separately) and advanced connectivity, so teachers can easily share content from multiple student devices, including Chromebooks — up to four at once with Moderator software. Plus, its lamp lasts up to 10,000 hours in ECO Mode. In each space, we installed inDESIGN 30w Powered Speakers on either side of the whiteboard, a JED T440 Wall Controller for ON/OFF, VOLUME and SOURCE selection functionality and VGA/Audio and HDMI Wall Plates.
We fitted the Principal’s Office and Staff Room with an LG 65″ Semi-Commercial Display Panel with inDESIGN Sound Bar and JED T440 Wall Controller, as well as a VGA/Audio/HDMI Wall Plate.
The Science Room saw the installation of an Epson EB-535 Short Throw WXGA Projector. Epson EB-535W short throw projectors provide ultra-bright image quality up to 3,400 lumens both in high colour brightness and in white brightness with 3LCD, 3-chip technology. The EB-535W short throw projectors are ideal for delivering large and engaging presentation content in the classroom or office without having the restriction of space. The EB-535W also features a newly developed high precision short throw lens with greater sharpness and improved focus levels. We also installed inDESIGN 30w Powered Speakers, a JED TT440 and a VGA/Audio and HDMI Wall Plate.
Similarly in the downstairs Food Tech Room, we installed an Epson EB-685W Ultra Short Throw WXGA Projector, inDESIGN 30w Powered Speakers, a JED T440 and a VGA/Audio and HDMI Wall Plate. A PTZOptics 12x Optical Zoom Camera was also installed above the work bench, enabling teachers to capture lessons and experiments and to display this content to the projector.
